The Space 3 : Three outstanding models have resulted from 15 years of technical progress in watch-making and are embodied in these professional mechanical chronographs : 1983 : The Space 1 model becomes the first automatic chronograph to be worn in space : during the Spacelab mission, the first German astronaut Reinhart Furrer wore the famous Bell & Ross chronograph. 1993 : The initial upgrade of the Space 1 model led to the Space 2 chronograph. Functionality is taken to the extreme by the use of the same movement but in a more compact case made of titanium. 1999 : Once again the Space model family is enlarged with the production of the new Space 3 chronograph.

Movement self-winding. Case mat stainless steel or titanium with retracting crown and integrated tappets. Functions : 2-counter chronograph (60-second and 30-minute accumulators). Second disengageable time zone over 24 h and date. Dial mat black with anti-glare and anti-UV treatment. Fluorescent hands and index. Crystal anti-glare sapphire glass. Water resistance to 200 meters (650 feet). Screw-down crown and back. Bracelet mat stainless steel or titanium.
